Soundtrack Maniacs

One of my favourite soundtracks by one of my favourite composers. Trevor Jones created in the past some of the most notable and remarkable scores the Soundtrack Maniacs have ever heard. Let's not forget "Last of the Mohicans", "Sea of Love" (I loved the saxophone theme), Excalibur, Arachnophobia etc. But here we deal with one of the most underrated scores ever!!!  Both movie and score are masterpieces. Watch the movie again and remark that music is accompanying the film from the beginning to end. IT NEVER STOPS!!!
The first 6 tracks of the CD are songs (we hear in the movie #1 & 6). Nice songs that fit with the mood of Alex Proyas's Film. Tracks 7 to 14 are Jones's work. Brutal, heavy and sometimes romantic. In one word: DARK! The opening of the movie listens to #7 and the ending to #14. Just for these two tracks (especially the last one, "You Have The Power") you MUST buy the CD. "You have the Power" is what it declares. The most powerful track I've ever heard! Music that is going to awake your senses and stuck your eyes on the screen while John Murdock and Mr. Book are fighting. The synths are hammering you for 12 minutes!!! Also I believe that track 11 (Memories from Shell Beach) contains the most romantic violin theme I met till now. Hear it and then think the person you love...
Nothing more to say. THIS CD IS A MUST... check out the rate!
